  10. Uncontrolled seizures
  11. Raynaud’s syndrome
  12. Cold allergy (urticaria)
  13. Acute kidney and urinary tract diseases
  14. Open wounds or ulcers
  15. Severe anemia
  16. Pregnancy
  17. Acute infections and fever
  18. Claustrophobia
  19. Intoxication (alcohol, drugs)

Relative Contraindications (Use with Caution):

  1. Age under 18 (parental consent required)
  2. Severe Hypothyroidism
  3. Acute respiratory system disorders
  4. Bleeding disorders
  5. Severe sensitivity to cold
  6. Unstable or severe hypertension (>180/100)
  7. Recent surgery (consult with your doctor)
  8. Epilepsy
  9. Cryoglobulinemia
  10. Hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating)

  2. Severe Raynaud’s syndrome
  3. Cold urticaria (hives caused by cold)
  4. Cryoglobulinemia
  5. Severe peripheral vascular disease
  6. Areas with decreased sensation or numbness
  7. Recent surgery in the treatment area (without doctor’s approval)
  8. Severe eczema or dermatitis in the treatment area
  9. Acute injuries with bleeding or hematoma
  10. Known circulatory problems in the treatment area
  11. Pregnancy (for abdominal or lower back treatments)

Relative Contraindications (Use with Caution):

  1. Diabetes (due to potential reduced sensitivity)
  2. Cardiovascular diseases
  3. High blood pressure (hypertension)
  4. Allergies to cold
  5. Skin conditions or sensitivity in the treatment area
  6. Recent botox or filler injections in the treatment area
  7. Metal implants in the treatment area
  8. History of deep vein thrombosis
  9. Hyperthyroidism or hypothyroidism
  10. Certain autoimmune conditions

Additional Considerations:

  1. Children under 14 (parental consent and supervision required)

  5. Untreated septic phlebitis
  6. Severe peripheral neuropathy
  7. Acute infection or cellulitis in the area to be treated
  8. Ischemic vascular disease
  9. Severe arterial insufficiency
  10. Gangrene
  11. Skin graft in the area (recent)

Relative Contraindications (Use with Caution):

  1. Diabetes (due to potential reduced sensitivity)
  2. Hypertension (uncontrolled)
  3. Mild to moderate peripheral arterial disease
  4. History of DVT or pulmonary embolism
  5. Chronic venous insufficiency
  6. Fragile or delicate skin
  7. Pregnancy (consult with healthcare provider)
  8. Active cancer (consult oncologist)
  9. Lymphedema (without proper management plan)

Additional Considerations:

  1. Open wounds or skin lesions (area should be properly covered)
  2. Recent surgery (consult with surgeon)
  3. Severe obesity (may affect fit of compression garments)
  4. Peripheral edema of unknown origin
  5. Patients on anticoagulant therapy
  6. Severe varicose veins

  2. Severe motion sickness
